THE FIRST STEP ON THE MOON

On July 20th, 1969 at 9:56 pm (UTC-5), Neil Armstrong, aged 39, was the first to touch the lunar surface with his footprint uttering the now-famous phrase "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind".

50 years ago to the day, Man accomplished an extraordinary feat by finally putting his foot on a celestial object other than Earth.
The "LUNAR 1969" limited edition of 1969 numbered pieces pays tribute to these pioneers of space travel that stirred the dreams of all mankind.

    STANDARD FLIGHT

Standard flight includes an ascent in the stratosphere at an altitude of more than 30km in extreme conditions with temperatures down to -60 ° C and a pressure approaching absolute vacuum.

A certificate signed by the director of the company sent into space, responsible for the flight, will be provided for each watch that was on board the cargo.

    FIGHT PREMIUM

This premium option allows a standard flight with an onboard camera to see the ascent of the watch from the ground up to an altitude of over 30km.

A video montage of 3min will be delivered within 4 weeks after this climb. The source file of more than 3 hours of flight can be returned to you on request. You will find a video montage of the first ascent here below.

    SYMBOLIC

This timepiece retraces the epic Apollo missions. It contains the geographical coordinates of each lunar landing. On the lunar surface, a bright spot indicates the location of the first step on the Moon.

To mark this historic moment in time, the date of the Apollo XI landing, “July 20 1969" is engraved on the case at 9:56 pm, while the name of the famous basalt basin "Mare Tranquillitatis” is engraved at exactly 12 o'clock.

To add a celestial touch to this mistress of time, we've also inserted a fragment of a lunar meteorite at the 12-hour mark - which comes with a certificate of authenticity.

An extraordinary and authentic story to pass on to future generations ...

    INNOVATION

To make this watch even rarer, the watchmaker offers the unique opportunity to have each watch of the "LUNAR 1969" collection sent to the edge of space, where it will come into direct contact with an environment of -60° C and with a pressure close to 0.

The watch will then be recovered by a company that specializes in the field, and delivered to the acquirer's doorstep in mint condition, together with a certificate authenticating the altitude of the flight.

    CERTIFICATES

A certificate proving the authenticity of the fragment lunar meteorite will be delivered with the watch as well as the possibility to take knowledge of the various components of the lunar rock through an official website The meteorological society".

In the event of a stratospheric flight, Col&MacArthur will provide a document, written by the company specializing in spaceflight, certifying the takeoff and the height of the flight. This certificate will be sent with the box.
