The brand's precision, the elegance of the Belgian watch
This Belgian brand philosophy guides each of our watches : they are the result of careful attention to materials, a deep respect for history and a level of quality that makes our Liège workshop proud.
We are among the few Liège-based watchmakers to design and assemble our watches in our own workshop. This choice stems first and foremost from a conviction: the value of a timepiece lies not in its possession, but in the relationship it creates with what it evokes. Some of our watches house authentic fragments – Martian dust, lunar regolith, a piece of the Berlin Wall. These rare elements are not there to glitter: they are there to remind. To allow the wearer to feel connected to a moment, to a courageous act, to an idea greater than themselves. For us, this is true Belgian prestige: the beauty of meaning.
For us, being a Belgian watch brand means cultivating an elegance of conviction – one that combines the rigor of the engineer with the sensitivity of the craftsman.
The Sarton 1778 – Our Belgian brand's tribute to its beloved master watchmaker
Our view of watchmaking is inextricably linked to Hubert Sarton, the 18th-century Liège watchmaker and inventor of the self-winding mechanism. His curiosity, humility, and mechanical genius embody the purest Belgian spirit: inventing without seeking glory. In creating the Sarton 1778, we wanted to continue this legacy.
Its automatic movement, understated design and thoughtful finishes pay homage to human precision, to the idea that innovation is only valuable when it serves collective progress.

The Red 3,721 – Material rarity serving an even greater symbol
With the Red 3,721, we wanted to celebrate another kind of conquest: the conquest of knowledge. Inspired by the planet Mars, this watch features the actual topography of the Red Planet on its dial, engraved from data collected by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. At three o'clock, a sealed chamber houses authenticated Martian dust.
This fragment is not an ornament: it is a tangible link between the wearer and one of the greatest scientific challenges of our time. As a Belgian watch brand , we believe that rarity only has meaning when it brings people together – here, it brings humanity closer to its own dream of exploration.

Berlin – A look at the past, inspiring our present
History also has its scars, and some deserve to be worn with respect. The Berlin watch incorporates a fragment of the Berlin Wall, a universal symbol of freedom and determination. We wanted it integrated into a minimalist design, as a form of silent reverence. This watch does not celebrate a triumph; it honors the memory of those who believed, resisted, and rebuilt.
As heirs to the courage that shaped our present, we owe it to them to look to the past not to dwell on it, but to draw inspiration from it. It is this perspective that our Belgian watch brand sought to embody in the very material of this exceptional timepiece.

Accuracy, the signature of our Belgian watch brand
All our watches share this same philosophy: a balance between the precision of the craftsmanship and the depth of meaning. We call this precision . It's not a style, it's an objective. For us, being a Belgian watch brand means finding that perfect balance where technology serves emotion, memory, and inspiration.
At Col&McArthur, each creation is designed, adjusted, and engraved in our watchmaking workshops in Liège . We perpetuate local watchmaking expertise with the conviction that modernity does not exclude tradition—that it extends it. Our watches are not trophies, but companions: witnesses to human endeavors, shared dreams, and discoveries that bring us together.
This is what we stand for through our craft and our brand – and this is what we will continue to do, watch after watch, here in Belgium, where it all began.
