"Mare Tranquillitatis," the most famous lunar sea, is the site where the lunar module "EAGLE" landed on July 20, 1969. This historic moment, marking humanity's first step on the Moon, is remembered as a symbol of peace and accomplishment.

The dial reveals a striking lunar imprint: a faithful 3D-printed reproduction of the Moon's surface. Its craters, ripples, impact marks... every detail recreates the raw appearance of our natural satellite.

To add a celestial touch to this mistress of time, a fragment of lunar meteorite is set at 12:00, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity detailing its provenance. A unique detail that links watchmaking to the infinity of the universe.

The geographical coordinates of the six Apollo missions that landed on the moon are engraved on the dial, marking each historic milestone in lunar exploration. A discreet yet powerful tribute to these achievements that pushed the boundaries of humanity.

To mark this historic moment, the date of the Apollo XI moon landing, “July 20, 1969,” is engraved on the case at 9:56 p.m., corresponding to the time of Neil Armstrong’s first step on the Moon (Houston time, GMT -5).

On the lunar surface, a bright spot marks the location of humanity's first step on the Moon. A subtle yet evocative detail, symbolizing the beginning of a new era of exploration and achievement.

The imprint of man's first step on the Moon is engraved on the case back, paying homage to the pioneers of space. A timeless tribute to these daring explorers who paved the way for humanity beyond our planet.

A design inspired by lunar exploration.

A design inspired by lunar exploration.

The Lunar 1969 draws its inspiration from the boldness and innovation of the first steps on the Moon. The dial is adorned with an authentic fragment of a lunar meteorite, symbolizing the incredible human adventure of July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong uttered the famous phrase: "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." This timepiece is a perfect fusion of the beauty of watchmaking and the prestige of a major historical moment.

“That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”
