This 43 mm diameter and 12.6 mm thick case is made of 316L steel, prized for its strength and durability. On the Leonardo 1519 Quartz, the hands rotate counterclockwise. Therefore, the position of the hands must be interpreted backwards. For example, if the hour hand points to 1 o'clock, it is actually 11 o'clock. If it points to 4 o'clock, it is 8 o'clock, and so on. This reverse reading takes a little getting used to, but quickly becomes second nature.
