On the Leonardo 1519 Quartz, the hands rotate counterclockwise. Therefore, the position of the hands must be interpreted backwards. For example, if the hour hand points to 1 o'clock, it is actually 11 o'clock. If it points to 4 o'clock, it is 8 o'clock, and so on. This reverse reading takes a little getting used to, but quickly becomes second nature.
