A granite base to affix the letters of imperial nobility
The Napoléon 1821 collection features a dial crafted from Vosges granite. This natural stone visually evokes the imperial green granite from Russia, used for the base of Napoleon's tomb at Les Invalides. Each watch is unique, sculpted from a raw material that embodies strength, memory, and singularity. The collection is limited to 1,821 numbered pieces.
“no one is required to do the impossible...”
— Napoleon
A symbolic transmission to the last descendant of Napoleon
In 2021, Col&MacArthur presented this collection to Charles Napoléon Bonaparte, a descendant of Jérôme Bonaparte, younger brother of Napoleon I, on the occasion of the inauguration of a cultural space at Liège-Guillemins station. This symbolic gesture, intended to honor and perpetuate the Napoleonic legacy, reinforces the legitimacy and emotional value of the collection. Col&MacArthur acts as a guardian of memory, ensuring a respectful and authentic tribute to this major historical figure.
