Two hundred and fifty years of independence.

In 1776, thirteen colonies gave voice to an idea that would redefine history: the right to liberty, representation, and self-governance. On July 4th, the Declaration of Independence was adopted in Philadelphia, marking the birth of a nation. A foundational moment, driven by men who risked everything, and whose echo resonates two hundred and fifty years later.

The 50 stars on the flag

Fifty stars. Fifty states. On the Patriot 1776 dial, this enduring symbol of the American flag becomes a tribute to the unity it represents.
Stars

THE FOUNDING YEARS OF THE ORIGINAL COLONIES

Twelve of the thirteen original colonies are represented on the case by their founding years. A quiet reminder that a nation is not built in a single instant, but through a succession of acts of courage and conviction. Pennsylvania, where independence was declared, is engraved on the caseback.

THE LIBERTY BELL INSCRIPTION

“Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land Unto All the Inhabitants Thereof” — Leviticus 25:10. Engraved on the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, these words have become an enduring symbol of American liberty. On the Patriot 1776, they appear as a permanent inscription.

THE MUSKET BALL SUBDIAL

At the heart of the dial lies a subdial crafted from a fragment of an authentic Revolutionary War musket ball, recovered at Fort Ticonderoga — a key strategic site during America’s fight for independence. Preserved across centuries, this historic material carries the weight of the American Revolution. Now placed on your wrist.

A FOUNDING STORY ENGRAVED IN STEEL

A FOUNDING STORY ENGRAVED IN STEEL

The caseback of the Patriot 1776 pays tribute to the birth of the United States through the inscriptions Pennsylvania, Independence Hall, and July 4, 1776. At its center, a star frames selected names from the Declaration of Independence, while one of its most defining lines runs around the design: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. Each Quartz edition is individually numbered. The Automatic edition is limited to 500 pieces.

“We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately”

— Benjamin Franklin

Technical description

Designed to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence, the Patriot 1776 incorporates a certified fragment from an authentic Revolutionary War musket ball. Carefully integrated into the seconds sub-dial, this historic element is accompanied by documentation attesting to its authenticity and provenance.

The Swiss Ronda quartz movement, caliber 6004D, powers this model with great precision. Featuring 5 jewels and a patinated gold finish, this 11 1/2-ligne caliber ensures reliability and ease of maintenance thanks to its EOL (End of Life) technology.

The 43 mm case is made of 316L stainless steel, ensuring both robustness and elegance. Its polished finish gives it a refined and brilliant look, while the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal provides exceptional clarity. The 5 ATM water resistance ensures optimal protection for everyday use. Its 20 mm lug-to-lug distance maintains a sleek and modern aesthetic.

The leather strap combines comfort and refinement. Equipped with a 316L steel double folding clasp, it offers a precise and secure fit, adapting to wrist circumferences of 170 to 210 mm. An elegant choice of material, designed to last.

At the center of the caseback, a star frames the inscriptions Pennsylvania, Independence Hall, and July 4, 1776, alongside the names of selected signers of the Declaration of Independence. Around it runs one of the most defining lines in American history: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. Engraved in steel.
