Dive into history.

Between July and October 1940, Germany attempted to subjugate the United Kingdom from the air in a series of epic battles known as the "Battle of Britain." September 15th was a pivotal date, as the Royal Air Force decisively defeated the Luftwaffe's major offensive. The air force's losses were a severe blow to the invaders. This strategic victory saved London from bombing and halted the Nazi advance. The United Kingdom was then the last bastion against tyranny.

Women's Auxiliary Air Force

During the Battle of Britain, women in the shadows played a key role. Members of the WAAF (Women's Auxiliary Air Force), they monitored the skies, plotting enemy routes in operations rooms, and guiding our fighters against the Luftwaffe. They analyzed, transmitted, and deciphered. Some crossed the lines, joining the SOE to support the Resistance. Fourteen parachuted into France; six never returned. Their courage can be seen today in every timepiece in our collection: a discreet but eternal tribute to these women who changed the course of history.
