The Household Cavalry is a cavalry unit of the Royal Guards, which consists of the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals. They have a long history of service to the British monarchy, dating back to medieval times.
The Life Guards were formed in 1660, while the Blues and Royals were formed in 1661. Both units have participated in numerous military campaigns, including the Napoleonic Wars, World War I and World War II, and the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Today, the Household Cavalry continues to serve as the guard of honour to his Majesty King Charles III and the British Royal Family. They are a symbol of the tradition and continuity of the British monarchy and an important part of British military history and culture.
The Royal Guard watches are licensed by the British Ministry of Defence. This licence guarantees the respect of the official coat of arms and the quality of the products. Each watch is supplied with a certificate and a "MoD approved" sticker.
