The Welsh Guards are an infantry unit of the Royal Guards that was formed in 1915 during the First World War. They were formed in response to requests from Welsh soldiers to serve in the Royal Guard. The Welsh Guards have served in many military campaigns, including the First and Second World Wars and the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Today, the Welsh Guards continue to serve as the guard of honour to his Majesty King Charles III and the British Royal Family. They are a symbol of the tradition and continuity of the British monarchy, and an important part of Welsh and British military history and culture
The Royal Guard watches are licensed by the British Ministry of Defence. This licence guarantees the respect of the official coat of arms and the quality of the products. Each watch is supplied with a certificate and a "MoD approved" sticker.
