The purchase of Col&MacArthur watches is made exclusively on the official website of our brand. However, if you want to discover our watches before making your choice, it is also possible to discover them in our showroom.
When you go to the product page of the wished watch, check the desired options and click on “Add to Cart”. From there, you are redirected to the summary of your order. To access the payment, simply click on the “Finalize my purchases” sub-tab.
Once your order has been placed and the payment has been made, the watch is shipped to the address indicated as soon as possible. It is also possible to collect the watch from the showroom. The selling price of the watches is displayed on our official website, on the product pages of each model. The price obviously varies depending on the model and the options chosen, such as the type of strap, movement, color, etc.
Our limited editions are still available if you have access to the product page and if it is possible to place an order. Otherwise, when a watch is marked as “unavailable” or “out of stock”, the product page is greyed out and therefore indicates that you do not have access to it.
When you order one of our watches, you have the possibility to choose the serial number, in which case it is designated automatically. To choose the serial number, simply tick the appropriate box on the product page and enter the desired serial number.
If the collection you've ordered doesn't meet your expectations, don't worry! We offer a 14-day withdrawal period from the date of receipt. Simply contact us within this period and return the items unworn and in their original condition. We'll give you a full refund on receipt of the returned items.
The delivery time is indicated on each product page, under the selling price. Note that this delay may vary from one collection to another; it is therefore imperative to check this information according to each product. In case of absence, a delivery notice is left in your mailbox. The parcel is then dropped off at a designated post office and mentioned on the delivery notice. All you have to do is pick it up with this the notice.
The watches are delivered by registered parcel via Bpost first, and then according to the national post of the country of the buyer, for deliveries within Europe.
For deliveries outside Europe, we work in collaboration with DHL.
Delivery is offered in the European Union. For any other destination, additional charges are required to be delivered with DHL, averaging 36 euros of shipping costs.
In case of emergency, an express delivery is also possible in less than 48 by DHL express. A quote will be provided to you; such a delivery costs 50 euros. Of course. However, take into account the different pricing policy since Brexit; VAT is payable at the customs. In fact, VAT is not counted in the check-out for deliveries to the United Kingdom in order not to incur additional costs. This will be deducted automatically when it is placed in the basket, if your delivery address is in the United Kingdom.
We accept all online payments such as Master Card, Visa, Carte Bleue, PayPal, Maestro and bank transfers. However, it is not possible to pay by cash.

Quartz
A quartz watch consists of an electronic circuit driven by a battery. The energy of the battery is used to vibrate a quartz oscillator and thus to operate the watch. Because of its electronic nature, the quartz movement is the most precise in watchmaking.
Mechanical
A mechanical watch is powered by the energy stored in a spring in the watch movement. Mechanical watches from Col&MacArthur are self-winding. This means that they are recharged by the movement of an oscillating weight when the watch is worn. Col&MacArthur watches have a power reserve of approximately 36 hours. After this period without being worn, the watch must be manually wound thanks to the winding stem.
Leather and Milanese mesh
The leather and Milanese mesh strap can be adjusted at a watchmaker, who has the right equipment, or directly at the Col&MacArthur workshop. If you are manual, it is however possible to perform this task on your own, thanks to the explanatory videos at your disposal.
Metal mesh
Indeed, for this type of strap, the Col&MacArthur team offers a premium service to adjust the strap to your wrist before sending the watch. You will receive an e-mail as soon as you place your order on our official website.
In addition, upon receipt of your order, the watch is provided with additional mesh. Thus, the metal mesh strap can also be modified later. At a watchmaker, who has the right equipment or directly at the Col&MacArthur workshop. Quartz
Quartz watches require a simple battery check every 2 to 3 years.
Mechanical
For mechanical watches, full maintenance is required every 3 years. It is also advisable to wind the watches regularly in order to activate the mechanism.
Quartz
Quartz watches have a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, that is to say they are waterproof up to 50 meters deep. However, salt water is not recommended.
Mechanical
For mechanical watches, they have a water resistance of 10 atmospheres (static pressure). The latter are thus waterproof up to 100 meters of depth. Nevertheless, salt water is not recommended.
Watches can be used for sports activities. Nevertheless, sudden movements and shocks should be avoided.
All our watches are quality timepieces and are designed with the greatest care. However, it is essential to treat them as delicate jewellery. We recommend that you do not expose them to water, such as bath water, swimming pool water or sea water.
Water can damage the internal components and alter the beauty of your watch. To preserve their quality and elegance, we advise you to keep them away from water.
There is an average running time only for mechanical watches, this one is 38 hours. The average running time of Col&MacArthur watches indicates how long the watch remains functional without being worn. After this delay, the watch must be manually wound.

The tolerance varies depending on the models and the type of watch you want to purchase.
Quartz
Our quartz watches are more accurate than our mechanical watches. These contain within them a quartz which, under tension, vibrates at 35 kHz. The role of this crystal is to electronically process pulses on a regular basis. The accuracy of our quartz watches is -10 to +20 seconds per month.
Mechanical
These movements require regular maintenance in order to maintain increased tolerance. The accuracy of automatic mechanical watches is + or - 20 seconds per day. INNOVATION
To make this watch even rarer, the watchmaker offers the unique opportunity to have each watch of the "LUNAR 1969" collection sent to the edge of space, where it will come into direct contact with an environment of -60° C and with a pressure close to 0.
The watch will then be recovered by a company that specializes in the field, and delivered to the acquirer's doorstep in mint condition, together with a certificate authenticating the altitude of the flight.
STANDARD FLIGHT
Standard flight includes an ascent in the stratosphere at an altitude of more than 30km in extreme conditions with temperatures down to -60 ° C and a pressure approaching absolute vacuum.
A certificate signed by the director of the company sent into space, responsible for the flight, will be provided for each watch that was on board the cargo.
PREMIUM FLIGHT
This premium option allows a standard flight with an onboard camera filming the ascent from the ground up to an altitude of over 30km.
A video montage of 2-3 minutes will be delivered within 4 weeks after this climb. The source file of more than 2 hours of flight can be returned to you on request. You will find a video montage of the first ascent below.
CERTIFICATES
A certificate proving the authenticity of the fragment lunar meteorite will be delivered with the watch as well as the possibility to take knowledge of the various components of the lunar rock through an official website "The meteorological society".
In the event of a stratospheric flight, Col&MacArthur will provide a document certifying the takeoff and the height of the flight. This certificate will be sent with the box.
Last but not least, the mention "SENT INTO NEAR SPACE" followed by the date of the flight will be engraved on the backcover of the watch.

Historical
HISTORICAL CONTEXT
Since its creation in July 1958, NASA has been very successful. The first great success was the Apollo program launched in 1961 and completed in 1975.
Apollo 7 was the first American manned mission sending a team of 3 men into space. The climax of the program was of course the Apollo 11 mission with Man’s first step on the moon by Neil A. Armstrong.
In addition to the desire to demonstrate the superiority of the United States over the Soviet Union, the Apollo programme aimed to send a man to the moon, objectives set by former President John F. Kennedy in 1961.
Michael Collins, Edwin E. Aldrin Jr., better known as Buzz Aldrin and Neil A. Armstrong took off on July 16, 1969 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to land on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Thus, marking the history of Humanity.
THE FIRST STEP
1h30 after the landing, Neil Armstrong leaves the lunar module and writes a piece of history by taking his first step on the surface of the Moon, July 20, 1969 at 21:56 (UTC).
He accompanies these first steps of a man on the Moon with the famous phrase “A small step for man, a giant leap for humanity”.
Given the absence of atmosphere on the Moon, the trace of Armstrong’s first step, represented on the back of the watch should remain visible for several millennia.
APOLLO 11
The date of landing, 20 July 1969, is written on the case at 21:56, time of the first step on the Moon. The now famous plain of Basalt where the lunar module Apollo XI has landed called «Mare Tranquillitatis» is for its part mentioned at noon.
The Apollo 11 crew only stayed on the surface of the Moon for 21 hours and 36 minutes before returning to Earth to land uneventfully in the Pacific Ocean.
THE APOLLO PROGRAM
The geographical coordinates of the various Apollo rockets are filled in with the corresponding mission numbers on the edge of the dial. The bright dot on the watch dial indicates the location of the first step.
THE CREW
Originally from Ohio, Neil A. Armstrong (pictured left) was a test pilot, United States Navy airman, teacher and astronaut.
It is by distinguishing himself by his coolness during his US Navy missions as well as during the rescue of the Gemini 8 mission that Armstrong gained his seat within Apollo XI.
Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. aka Buzz Aldrin (right), being the pilot of the lunar module of Apollo XI, is the one who brought and accompanied Neil Armstrong to the surface of the Moon.
Meanwhile, Michael Collins (in the middle), remained within the command and service module in the orbit of the Moon.

Très beau produit, la montre Lunar 1969 est très belle, les finitions sont à la hauteur de mes attentes. L' équipe est aussi très pro et le colis est reçu dans les temps (avec 24h d'avance même).
Si je devais dire une chose, le tour de poignet est légèrement trop serré, donné à 17cm, peut être qu'un demi cm supplémentaire serait plus confortable, mais ils y ont pensé en livrant la montre avec un jeu de bracelet supplémentaire, c'est parfait. Je recommande.

Lors de la fabrication de mon produit, j'ai reçu un appel concernant un problème lié au joint d'étanchéité de la montre, on m'a tout de suite demandé si la montre devait être livrée pour une occasion spéciale, j'ai trouvé la démarche d'appel excellente car ils se soucient vraiment de leurs clients. Cela peut paraître normal mais je peux vous assurer que ce n'est pas partout que vous verrez ce genre de pratique.
En bref, je recommanderai volontiers chez Col&MacArthur qui fait un excellent travail !!

We bought the LUNAR watch a few months ago and my husband is really happy with it.
It is the mechanical model, automatic and very robust.
The watch is original and very nice. The back of the dial is richly covered with a picture of the Sea of Tranquillity delicately put on the dial.
in relief by fine materials.
Its case is very refined, splendid and solid, top quality!
Perhaps you will make the Mars Watch?
I have seen the landing site where Perseverance was deposited, craters, old watercourses and beautiful dunes in relief.
If this is the case, I would personally be a fan of it, but in a Quartz version (Mrs Huys).

Negative points
The bracelet is not easy to adjust and it should, in my case, measure a good centimetre more.
I wonder why the numbers 13, 21, 34, 89 and 144 are upside down (for the 55, the problem does not arise). I can explain: when you look at these numbers in a mirror, they indicate 31, 12, 43, 98 and indescribable (for 144) respectively. So they are not completely mirrored. I don't know if this is intentional, but I think it's a pity that it doesn't correspond to the exact reflection of the Fibonacci sequence.
More generally, on your site there are many watches about military battalions and commemorations of the world wars. It is undoubtedly nice for the amateurs of the great wars but not for the amateur of ordinary watches:
- · Smurfs, ok but not too much for my taste;
- · Da Vinci, original and to my taste so this is the one I chose;
- · Lunar 1969, original but bracelet not to my taste.
As for the rest, everything has something to do with the wars which limits the choices.
You will tell me that there is something for everyone and you will be right. However, I think that offering other models of watches could allow you to diversify your clientele.

The object is superb. I had asked for the n°444/500 and I got it ?
The case is magnificent, a beautiful case for my watch.
The engravings on the dial are very fine and are a "plus".
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and I hope to have the opportunity to fall under the spell of one of your next creations ?

They asked me the wrist size, I thought it was great, it was too small, it was too potty, I had to add more stitches.
I think it's a shame there are no instructions for the adjustment...

To start with, the watch arrived in a beautiful box, adjusted to the size of my wrist! I wore it for a while before posting a notice because usually the watches I wear tend to stop without any defect according to the after-sales service! No problem with this one ! The bracelet is comfortable, I was afraid that it would scratch easily when I work with it every day but this is not the case, not a single micro scratch so far! Very nice finish of the sapphire glass and perfect waterproofness ! We have ordered the LUNAR watch. It is very pretty and meets our expectations. It was a gift for a 50-year-old cousin.
The house Col&MacArthur, very kindly lent us a prototype in order to have a specimen to show on the day of the birthday. And we thank them for that. In mid-October, we received this beautiful watch, so nicely wrapped in a beautiful box. Thank you to this serious company and good wind for other equally successful watches. Dispas family

I have just received my Lunar1969 watch and I am very satisfied in every way. Original concept, pleasant look and excellent finish. Moreover, the communication with the boss as well as the follow-up and the respect of the deadlines are at the top! To be recommended!

What a great company! They make such beautiful watches. The owner is very kind and takes time to talk to you and inform you about everything you want to know. I once placed an order and pre payed for the DaVinci 500 but when I visited the company he showed me a sneak peak of the new Lunar1969 project. I cancelled my DaVinci order and changed it for the Lunar1969 project as it is for me personally a more “daily” wearable watch then the DaVinci. Overall a great company and I cannot wait for future projects

After the purchase of the 1918 armistice watch, it was the Da Vinci watch which is splendid, a real open book on the character and his work.
Quite disturbing at first, with this anti-horlogical movement
My last possession, the 1969 Lunar which, at 66 years old, represents for me a period of my life when this kind of adventure still had the power to fascinate. The only drawback on this one is that the piece of meteorite placed at 12 o'clock is not visible enough for me.
As far as Col&MacArthur is concerned, I can only recommend it for those who are looking to acquire a watch from their collection.
Very reactive, personalized contact, serious, impeccable finishing, quality movement.
I am waiting for their next idea!
